Determine the equivalent resistance between terminals A and B.

Let us name the resistances as R1, R2, R3 and R4.

Now we know that R1 and R3 (each equal to 9 ohm ) are connected in parallel, and so are R2 and R4(each = 3ohm).

So R1 and R2 are in parallel with R3 and R4.

R'=R1+R2
=9+3
=12ohm

Similarly,

R'' = R3+R4
=9+3
=12ohm

1/R'+1/R'' =1/ R
R= 1/12+1/12
=2/12
=1/6
R= 6 ohm

So the equivalent resistance between A and B is 6ohm.
