If im getting you right...the HCF should be your answer.
Change All In CM.
700 cm = 7 * 5^2 * 2^2

385 cm = 11 * 7 * 5
1295 cm = 37 * 7 * 5

7 * 5 (common) = 35 cm

7 m = 20 lengths

3 m 85 cm = 11 lengths
12 m 95 cm = 37 lengths

Given:−

the length of 7m,3m,85cm , 12m and 95cm

\large{ \sf \underline{ \red{To\:Find : - }}} </p><p>

To find the length of the longest tape to be used for measuring

\large{ \sf \underline{ \red{Solution: - }}}

we have to find the H.C.F. of these lengths.

\begin{gathered}\sf \to \: 7 m = 700 cm \\ \\ \sf \to \:3 m \: ,85 cm = 385 cm \\ \\ \sf \to \:12 m \:, 95 cm = 1295 cm \\ \\ \sf \to \: \: H.C.F. \: of \: 700, 385 \: and \: 1295 \\\end{gathered} </p><p>→7m=700cm</p><p>→3m,85cm=385cm</p><p>→12m,95cm=1295cm</p><p>→H.C.F.of700,385and1295</p><p>

________________

H.C.F. of 700, 385 and 1295 = 5 × 7 = 35

= 35 cm

Hence the Determine the largest tape is 35 cm
