Given :-
- Quadratic equation: x² - 2x + 9/4 = 0
To Find :-
- The nature of roots.
Solution :-
Given that, x² - 2x + 9/4 = 0
On comparing with ax² + bx + c = 0 , We get :
➡ a = 1 , b = -2 , c = 9/4
As we know that,
[ Putting values ]
➡ Δ = (-2)² - 4 × 1 × (9/4)
➡ Δ = 4 - 4 × 9/4
➡ Δ = 4 - 9
➡ Δ = -5
Hence,
- The roots are not real and unequal.
