determine the nature of root of the given quadratic equation
 =  \sqrt{3x { }^{2} }   + 2 \sqrt{3} x +  \sqrt{3}   = 0

Nature is given by determinant(D) which is equal to b²-4ac

  • If D>0, roots are real and distinct
  • If D=0, roots are equal
  • If D<0, roots does not exist

a = √3

b = 2√3

c = √3

b²-4ac = (2√3)² - 4(√3)(√3)

= 12 - 12

= 0

Therefore, the equation has 2 real and equal roots
