Determine the point on the graph of. the. linear equation 2x5y=19 ,whose ordinate is one and a half times its abscissa.

It's 2 multiply by 5y or
2x multiple by 5y

Given that ordinate is 1 ½ times its abscissa
That is y = 3x /2
Hence equation (1) becomes
2x + 5(3x /2) = 19
19x/2 = 19
Therefore, x = 2
y = 3x/2 = (3 × 2)/2 = 3
Thus the point on the graph is (2, 3).
