Hello Bhai ;))

Let the ratio be k:1

Therefore.

Y=ky2+y1 /k+1

Here ; y=6
Y2=8
Y1=3

So by cross multiplication;))

Ratio is 3/2

That’s is;- 3:2

Now for th value of ‘m’

M=kx2+2.x1/3+2

= 3*2+2* -4/ 3+2

—->> 6-8/2

Therefore... m—>> -1

Answer hope it helps..

Thanks.

Let the required ratio be k:1

m1=k ; m2= 1

X = m2*a1 + m1*a2/m1+m2
M= 1*-4+ k*2/k+1
M= -4+2k/k+1

Y= m2*b1 + m1*b2/m1+m2
6=3+8k/k+1
3=2k
K=3/2

M= -4+2*2*3/2//3/2+1
M=-1*2/5
M=-2/5

Hope it helps!!
