For this, let us try to put a, b, c and d ALL in terms of b.

1st ratio given is q:b = 5:6. From this we get a = 5b/6 ---------- (i)

2nd ratio given is b:c = 9:8. From this we get c = 8b/9 --------- (ii)

3rd ratio given is c:d = 7:5. From this we get d = 5c/7 --------- (iii)

Substituting the value of (ii) into (iii), we get d = 8b/7

Now we have all a,b,c and d in terms of d.

Lets lay them out -->

a:b:c:d = 5/6:1:8/9:8/7

If you do not want the ratio to be in fractions, you can go a step further. Find the LCM of 6, 9 and 7 which is 126 and put the fraction is whole numbers to represent the ratios.
