5(-8)^3+49(-8)^2+74(-8)+6
=5(-512)+49(64)-74×8+6
=-2560+3136-592+6
=-10

F(x) = 5x^3 + 49x^2 + 74x + 6

We want the remainder when F(x) is divided by (x+8).

Take x+8 = 0
Or x = -8

The reminder will be F(-8)

F(-8) = 5×(-8)^3 + 49×(-8)^2 + 74×(-8) + 6 = -10

Hence the remainder will be -10.
