Here's your answer...

The formula for finding resistance when the length, area of cross section and resistivity is give is...

R = § L/A
(§ is resistivity, I don't have the rho symbol)

L = 10³ m
A = pi × 0.25 × 0.25 × 10^-6 m
= 625 pi × 10^-10 m
R = 1.7×10^-8 × 10^3 × 10^10 / 625 pi
(1.7 \times  {10}^{ - 8}  \times  {10}^{3}  \times  {10}^{10} ) \div 625\pi
≈ 86.58 ohm
