x²-[(m+3)-m]x-m(m+3)=0  

 as (m+3-m) =3 so we can write (m+3-m) in place of 3

x²-(m+3)x + mx - m(m+3)=0

x[x-(m+3)] + m[x-(m+3)]=0

x[x-m-3] + m[x-m-3]=0

[x-m-3] × [ x+m] =0                   common (x-m-3)

so, x-m-3 = 0

x=m+3

or, x+m =0

x= -m
