Let the line equation represented as

{\bold {\large {y=mx +c }}}

on comparing it with the given equation

8x-4y-9=0

8x-9=4y

2x -  \frac{9}{2}  = y

2x + ( -  \frac{ 9}{2} ) = y

so slope will be

{\bold {\pink {\mathcal {\boxed{2}}}}}

Answer:

Hey dude....

8x - 4y - 9 = 0 \\  - 8x \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  - 8x \\  - 4y - 9 =  - 8x \\  - 9 \:  \:  \:  - 9 \\  - 4y =  - 8x + 9 \\ devided \: by \: 4 \: on \: both \: side \: to \: have \: y \: by \: itself \: and \: you \: get \:  \\ y = 2x -  \frac{9}{4} \\ the \: slope \: in \: this \: equation \: is \: 2x \: so \: ans \: is \: 2.

Hope it helps you!!!
