SOLUTION

Firstly take L.C.M of 6, 8 & 12

=) 2× 2× 2× 3= 24

So, the smallest three digit no.= 100

=) To find the number, we have to divide 100 by 24

=) 100÷24= 4

Therefore,

the required number = 100+(24-4)

=) 100+20

=) 120

hope it helps ☺️

\huge\bf{Answer:-}

By takeing (L.C.M) for (6, 8 and 12)

LCM = Least common multiple:-

=> (2 × 2 × 2 × 3 = 24)

  • 100 is the smallest three digit number.

  • I have to divide (100 by 24 ) to find the number.

=> (100 ÷ 24 = 4)

Needed number = 100 + 24- 4

=> (100+20)

=> (120)

Therefore, 120 is the smallest 3 digit nubmber which is exactly divisible by 6, 8, and 12
