\mathbb{ANSWER}

ᴛʜᴇ ᴏʙᴊᴇᴄᴛ ᴄᴏᴠᴇʀs 40 Km ɪɴ 5 hrs ᴀᴛ ᴛʜᴇ sᴘᴇᴇᴅ ᴏғ 8 km/hr or 2.2 m/s

\mathbb{SOLUTION}

we know,

➢ Speed = Distance / Time

So,

➢ Speed of given object =

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Distance covered by the object

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Time taken

➢ Speed of given object = 40

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀5

➢ Speed of given object = 8 km/hr or 2.2 m/s

For more info,

1 km = 1000 m = 5 m/s

1 hr⠀⠀3600 s ⠀⠀18

Speed of given object = 8 ×5/18 = 2.2 m/s

Answer:

S=8 km/h=2.22 m/s(or 20/9 m/s if you want in fractions)

Explanation:

d=40 km, t=5 h

S=d/t

 =40 km/5 h

 =8 km/h

1 km/h=1000 m/3600 s

          =5/18 m/s

Using above conversation:

8 km/h=8*5/18 m/s

           =20/9 m/s

           =2.22 m/s

S=8 km/h=20/9 m/s=2/22 m/s

Hope my answer helps.
