a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c2
a-b/6=3/1-2b=-2/-6
3/1-2b=-2/-6
-18=-2(1-2b)
-18=-2+4b
-18+2=4b
-16=4b
-4 = b

a-b/6=-2/-6
-6a+6b=-12
subtitute b value
-6a+6(-4)=-12
-6a=-12+24
-6a=12
a=-2
