lets consider firstly for 'x'

as we can see , 40° , 30° and x are in linear pair.

hence, 40°+30°+x = 180°

→ 70°+x=180°

→ x = 110°

lets consider for 'y'

y is opposite angle of 40°

hence, y = 40°

lets consider for 'z'

z and y are making linear pair hence ,

z+y = 180°

→ z +40° = 180°

→ z = 140°

so, x = 110°

y= 40°

z= 140°

Answer:

Angle 'x' = 110 degree

Angle 'y' = 140 degree

Angle 'z' = 40 degree

Step-by-step explanation:

Angle 'x' = 40 + x + 30 = 180 (Angles in Linear Pair)

Therefore, x = 180 - 70

x = 110

Angle 'y' = 40 + y = 180 (Angles in Linear Pair)

Therefore, y = 180 - 40

y = 140

Angle 'z' = x + 30 + z = 180

Therefore, 110 + 30 + z = 180

z = 180 - 140

z = 40
