x+6=y
x-y=-6..........(i)
2x-y=4...........(ii)
from (i) equ.
x=-6+y...........(iii)
putting the value of x in equ. (ii)
2(-6+y)-y=4
-12+2y-y=4
y=4+12
y=16
putting the value of y in equ.(ii)
2x-y=4
2x-16=4
2x=4+16
2x=20
x=20÷2
x=10
x-y=-6..........(i)
2x-y=4...........(ii)
from (i) equ.
x=-6+y...........(iii)
putting the value of x in equ. (ii)
2(-6+y)-y=4
-12+2y-y=4
y=4+12
y=16
putting the value of y in equ.(ii)
2x-y=4
2x-16=4
2x=4+16
2x=20
x=20÷2
x=10
