Determine the values of x for which the function f(x) = x2 + 2x + 3 is a
strictly increasing and a strictly decreasing function. Also find the
co-ordinates of the point on the curve y = x2 + 2x + 3 where the normal
is parallel to the line x – 4y + 7 = 0.
