each side of cube (L) = 10cm
= 0.1 m
Hydraulic pressure (P) = 7×10^6 N/m²
Bulk modulus ( K) =140×10^9Pa
volume contraction (∆V) = ?
Bulk modulus ( K) = ∆P/{∆V/V}
∆V = PV/K
= 7× 10^6 × (0.1)³/140×10^9
= 0.05 × 10^-6 m³
= 5 × 10^-8 m³
