Dear Student,

◆ Determining the molarity of the given HCl solution -

Take known volume of HCl solution and titrate it against NaOH solution of known concentration.

Reaction for this titration is -

HCl + NaOH --> NaCl + H2O

Molarity of HCl solution is determined by formula -

M(HCl)×V(HCl) / M(NaOH)×V(NaOH) = 1/1

M(HCl) = M(NaOH)×V(NaOH) / V(HCl)

M(HCl) = V(NaOH) / 20V(HCl)
