In order to calculate the longest wavelength of Lyman series the energy difference should be minimum i.e n = 2

1/λ = RH ( 1/ 1^2 - 1/ 2^,2)

   = 1.09678 x 10^7 x 3/4

1/λ   = 8225850  

  λ  = 1/ 8225850  

 λ   = 1.2157 x 10^-6m

 λ  = 1216 x  10^-9m

  λ = 1216 nm

Frequency = speed of light / wavelength

              = 3 x 10^8 /  1216 x  10^-9m

             = 2.46 x10^-4 Hz
