At x- intercept: The value of  y should be zero. So

a) (-2, 0): Here x=-2 and y=0 that is function has x-intercept at given point.

b) (-1, -2): here x=-1 and y=-2 that is value of y is not equal to zero. that is function is not having x-intercept at given point.

c) (0, 0): Here x=y=0, that point is origin.

d) (1,0): Here x=1 and y=0 that is function has x-intercept at given point.

e) (2, 0): Here x=2 and y=0 that is function has x-intercept at given point.
