Answer:

There are another method 1- calculate how many grams of H2SO4 in the bottle:

2- Calculate how many grams must be taken from the bottle to get the final desired concentration as follow:

98% = (98 gram / 100 ml)

= 980 gram / 1000 (1L).................. (1)

1.5 % = 1.5 gram /100 ml

= 3.0 gram / 200 ml......................... (2)

to take 3 gram from the H2SO4 bottle from (1).&(2)..

980 -------------1000

3 ---------------- x ( where x is the volume we will take from H2SO4 solution)

Therefore, x = 3 * 1000 / 980

= 3.064 ml

Finally, to prepare 200 ml of H2SO4 in concentration 1.5 % :

Take 3. 064 ml from H2SO4 solution (bottle) and complete the volume to 200 ml by d. water in measuring flask .................. hope it helps
