p(2) = 2(2) - 7(2) + 6 (put x = 2 value )

p(x) = 4 - 14 + 6

p(x) = -10 + 6

p(x) = -4

we know that p(x) = 0 if 2 is root of this quadratic equation ,

but p(x) -4 is not equals to 0

hence ,

x = 2 is not a root of this quadratic equation .
