By Remainder Theorem:-

x-2=0

x=0+2

x=2

(x^3)-(3x^2)+4x-4

(2^3)-(3×2×2)+4(2)-4

8-12+8-4

16-16

0

Therefore,

(x-2) is a factor of (x³-3x²+4x-4) as (x-2) is (x³-3x²+4x-4) is divisible by (x-2).
