(1)5,7

(2)14,21

(3)22,24

Two numbers are co-prime if their highest common factor (or greatest common divisor) is 1

EVALUATION

CHECKING FOR QUESTION : 1

Here the given two numbers are 5 , 7

5 = 1 × 5

7 = 1 × 7

∴ HCF = 1

So 5 & 7 are co-prime

CHECKING FOR QUESTION : 2

Here the given two numbers are 14 , 21

14 = 1 × 2 × 7

21 = 1 × 3 × 7

∴ HCF = 7

So 14 & 21 are not co-prime

CHECKING FOR QUESTION : 3

Here the given two numbers are 22 , 24

22 = 1 × 2 × 11

24 = 1 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3

∴ HCF = 2

So 22 & 24 are not co-prime
