if (x-1) is a factor, ( x-1)=0 and x=1

f(1) =  {1}^{4}  + 5  \times {1}^{2}  - 5 \times 1 + 1

 = 1 + 5 - 5 + 1

 = 2

f(1) \: is \: not \: equal \: 0

So, (x-1) is not a factor of that polynomial
