GIVEN Factor:- X+1=0-
x=-1


Now putting the value of x in Given polynomial:-

x⁴-x³+x² -x+1

=) (-1)⁴-(-1)³+(-1)²-(-1) +1



=) 1+1+1+1+1

=)5
