Determine X if the slope of the line joining the two points (4,X)(7,2) is 8/3​

slope =  \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}

 =  \frac{8}{3}  =  \frac{(2 - x)}{(7 - 4)}

 = 8 = 2 - x

x = 2 - 8 =  - 6
