Much, more, less, some, all, no, any, haif, whole, sufficient, enough, little, a little, the little, eteret
to quantities. They can be used as Determiners before Nouns.
Look at the following examples carefully:
1. He spent much money on the birthday of his son.
2. His father drinks more tea than water.
3. I want to buy some sugar.
4. They kept awake all night
5. I have no money left with me.
6. Have you got any information about the opening of schools?
7. He told me the whole story of his mother's illness,
8. There is sufficient space to accommodate three persons.
9. We have little milk, so we cannot make tea.
10. There is a little milk; we can prepare two cups of tea.
11. The little milk they had was spoiled by the dog.
