It is given that,
a3 = 5; a7 = 9
We know that,
a3 =a + 2d
5-2d = a ...(i)
Also,
a7 = a + 6d
9 = 5-2d+6d [From (i)]
4d+5 = 9
4d = 4
d=1
When d=1,
a = 5-2(1)
a=3
Therefore, the AP is 3,4,5,...
