price of 16l milk= Rupees 77

To find 12.5% of 77

77/12.5%x100

=6.16

=77+6.16=83.16 Rupees

=83 Rupees is the answer

Answer:

s.p \: \: of \: milk = (4.80 + 0.60) \\ = 5.40rs \\ new \: rate = \{ 16 \div (16 + 4) \times 5.40 \\ = (16 \div 20) \times 5.40 \\ = 4 .32rs per \: litre.

total S.P. of milk

then,new rate = {total milk/( milk+water)} ×seling price of milk.

and, this is the final answer 4.32rs/litre.
