STORY:
Ram was an ambitious and naughty boy who lived in an orphanage. His mother & father died when he was too young. His orphanage caretaker told him that his father was a pilot. Since he learned about his father he too dreams of flying up in the sky. He will always question his teachers and people around him that he wanted to fly but can’t as he don’t have wings. Listening to his childish talk nobody pays attention towards his flying desire.
During summer holidays he decides to run away from the orphanage in order to find his wings. He wanted to fly high up in the sky. Ram believed if he will fly high he can find his father in the sky. One summer afternoon he escapes from the orphanage in order to find his wings. He runs aimlessly and halts at a children park. Where he meets a little crippled boy. The crippled boy offers him water to drink and they become friends. Ram asked the crippled boy out of curiosity whether we wanted to fly. The crippled boy answers – No, I want to walk like other children. At that moment Ram realizes how privilege he is that he can walk and run like other children. He decides to spend the rest of the day with the crippled boy and plays the various sort of games with him till the evening.
As it was dusk the crippled boy’s father comes to pick him from the park. Listening to his father Ram asked the crippled boy to slide on his back and rushes across the grass as fast as he can. The crippled boy becomes so excited that out of exuberance he shouts I am flying Dad, I am flying. Listening to the crippled boy’s words Ram realizes that he already has the power of wings and can help many helpless people who need his wings for support.
Ram returns to the orphanage and decides to become Wings of Hope for the other people.
