Following is the short story on the topic, " Am I the prefect in school or a baby at home?"

Explanation:

Every once a while I would look closely into the mirror and contemplate as to what i was becoming. I knew that I was one of those loved students in school and was liked by most teachers only to be hated by my class fellows. Now why was this? This was because I was the prefect in my class. Everyone loved to get favors from the prefect but if you had a strict prefect then you would be in for a year of bad punishments if you were to get caught doing something against the rules of the class.

Its not like I was a snob or anything. Its just that i liked being incharge and maintaining class decorum. I liked it when all teachers would praise me for my disciplinary attitude at such a young age. But on top of that why did I like the authority? Because at home I was the baby. Even at this age my parents would never let me make any decisions, whether big or small. They would always try to dominate me and never heard my side of the story. I didn't like being the baby and powerless. So when I got authority and some form of control at school I started questioning myself, " Am I the prefect in school or a baby at home".
