Every year, we have a Diwali mela.

There are rides, food joints, circus, shopping stalls, and lots more amazing held.

One interesting aspect about the mela is our elephant named Raju.

All the kids used to sit on him and have a ride all through the mela.

This year, we couln't see Raju because he expired a few months ago due to some disease.

I and other kids were heartbroken and missed him.
