A boy used to go to school by autorickshaw daily. Every day, he had to cross a railway station to go to school. Whenever he passed the station, the boy was curious to go inside and see the trains. He also wanted to know how people worked there. One day, he asked the autorickshaw driver to take him inside the station. Since it was already near school time, the driver promised to take him another day.
That day, the boy’s teacher announced that his class was going for a one day trip to a nearby place. Everyone was excited and the students started discussing among themselves where it would be. When they finally reached the place, the boy was quite surprised. It was the very same railway station that he had wanted to go to in the morning. The teacher took them inside and showed them where to buy the tickets to go to the platform. She also showed them various trains and explained to them how the train moves on the tracks.
The boy saw four trains arriving on and departing from various platforms.
He was very happy to have his desire fulfilled. On the way back home, he told the autorickshaw driver all that he had seen and learnt.
