Chandu Lal was a poor villager. He was just a matric pass. He got no work in his village so he comes to Delhi. While traveling to Delhi he had many dreams about improving his life. After reaching Delhi, he found no place, no friends, no relatives to go to. He was all alone. He tries for a job but to no avail. With somebody's help, he starts to work as a rickshaw puller. He somehow settles in Delhi and starts to work with honesty and hard work. He lives in a slum and hopes a better future. He often misses his family and village. A day will come when Chandu Lal would get a good job out of his honesty and he would be able to give all the happiness to his family.
