Once Ananya, a student of class 9 was returning home from school. She was walking beside the river and singing to herself. Suddenly she heard a loud cry, "Help! Help!" She stopped and started looking for the source of the sound. She understood that it was coming from the riveer.
She went immediately on the bank of the river and a saw a figure was drowning in the water and crying for help. She was an expert swimmer. So she didn't hesitate even a little bit and jumped into the river. She swam to the drowning figure and say that it was a middle-aged woman. She tried pulling her. But she was too heavy for her to pull.
But Ananya didn't give up. She tried her best. She gave her full strength and brought the lady near the bank of the river. Some fishermen saw her struggling with the lady who weighed twice than her. They also helped her and finally she was successful to save the life of the lady.
Through the fishermen, Ananya's act of bravery spread. Media came to her house to take her interview. everybody praised her and thus, Ananya was felicitated in the school at the hands of the Principal of school for her bravery.
