                                        A Scene in the Park

There was a large park in the society. It was the centre of attraction for the people of all ages. Some came for doing morning walk, some for exercise, some for playing while some others for chatting. One day the park was fully crowded as after three long days of raining, the weather was finally fine.

There were many children who were playing different games. Some were playing cricket, some badminton while some others were playing hide and seek. Some boys were flying various kinds of kites. Those colourful kites made the sky look bright and colourful too. They were flying so high that from the ground they looked like little colourful birds flying in the sky. There was an old man who was walking on the grass with his pet dog "Jim". Jim was an obedient dog who loved his master a lot. The old man was partially blind, thus Jim used to direct him to the right path like a faithful companion.

In all these hustle and bustle, a little boy was sitting alone on a bench. He was feeding the birds. Those birds were his only companions. There is some defect in his legs, that's why nobody played with him and those birds had become his companions. Feeding them gave him a kind of joy and satisfaction.
