A few days have passed and the slave has been caught in the act of stealing and has been punished to fight a lion in the battle ground. The lion whom he had to fight was the same lion that he had helped. On the fight day the lion did not attack the slave. The slave took the lion and said to the king, " This lion was once injured and I helped him. Today I am in distress and the lion has helped me by not attacking me. Hence my Lord I ask you to forgive me." The king was pleased by the slave's good act and let him free.
