I sat looking out of my bedroom window and suddenly I heard someone shuffling around when tried to search who it is I saw there was no one here in my room except me. My room shows the perfect view of the woods exactly behind my house. I sigh, shuffled on my bed to try find a good position to sleep and tried to sleep but nope I am unable to sleep. I even started feeling hungry so I got up and went down to the kitchen I really hope my brother isn't awake or else he would be so mad at me because I'm planing to eat his chocolate cake he saved to eat tomorrow. I went towards kitchen while switching on the light and moved towards the refrigerator. I opened it to see the cake waiting there for me to eat it right away so I took it out and even took a fork, I moved towards the kitchen counter and started eating the cake and then again I heard something shuffle I doubt if there is something inside the house so I took the cake along with me to my parents room so that I will wake them up and ask them to check the house. As I started going up and towards the hallway where all our rooms are there, I stopped abruptly when someone came out of the twins room. I have a total of 4 siblings in which I'm the middle born, the twins are the younger among all of the siblings, the person/thing that came out of the twins room wasn't for sure any of the twin because the person/thing was well built and even tall. So I did the first thing that crossed my mind 'to scream' and I screamed so loudly that the whole neighborhood might have woken up. The lights flickered on in all of the rooms except mine and also the hallway. My parents came dashing towards me and even the person/thing also came. My parents were horrified to see the thing come towards us but the acted more socially and asked the thing to stop and it did and also it spoke 'Mum, Dad it's me, Dylan your elder what's going on' and then my other siblings Mason, Ryan and Riley came and also switched on the light in the hall way. My parents started laughing and my other siblings except me and Dylan were confused. Then Mason said 'Emily why do you have my cake that too half eaten with you?' and there goes my plan of eating the cake and not getting caught in drain.
