Answer:

Garrow was tense. This was not the first time he had entered a battlefield but something felt wrong. He was uneasy beyond measure. Then he remembered what master had said to him,' Tension is the sister of victory ,you cannot gain one without the other'. He took a deep breathe and the the field with a fierce battle cry. Suddenly he heard Thorn screaming from behind,'MOVE' but before he could react he felt a pain, intense enough to tear the world apart, in his side. Julian's words echoed in his, 'Mind whatever you do, do not die'. The world faded to black. 'JULIAN!'

Julian was sitting by the fireplace little Rose in her hand. Suddenly she started crying. Julian tried to stop her but could not then she heard a knock at the door. Celia the maiden answered the door. She returned with a stunned expression. Her eyes were wide open. Julian asked her what had happened but she did not answer. She ran to the door only to see four men,  including Thorn carrying a body. She screamed, 'NOOO!!!' . All of them shook their heads in despair as they laid Garrow's body down and slowly lifted the sheets from his face. Celia gasped. Julian stood there there completely blank staring into thin air.

Then she looked at Rose lying on the couch and started weeping. She wept and wept and wept until she could no more. Now Celia was worried for her mistress as she and rose were both ill. They became worse and had to be admitted. Then one evening when Julian felt a little better she asked to see rose. A very old nurse, probably over 90, came in carrying rose in her arms. Julian wanted to cry again at the sight of rose, she wanted to cry for her whole life but as soon as the nurse placed rose on her lap she felt her heart filled with joy, compassion, and determination. She cried out, 'I must live for you, my little rose.'
