In the light, Bob realises that the new man is not Jimmy Wells and is arrested by him. Then, he gives Bob a letter. The letter states that the earliest patrolman was Jimmy Wells and when he found Bob was a criminal wanted in Chicago, he could not arrest his dwar friend.
