The clever jackal
A lion used to live in a dark and deep forest.One day he having found no prey decides to go into a jackal's cave and wait for him till evening ,to come to his cave so that he can pounce upon him ,as soon as the jackal enters the cave.When the jackal returns, he smells danger when he notices pug marks and becomes suspicious that someone has entered his cave.So he thought of a clever plan and calls out ,"O my dear cave please welcome me".When he got no answer he repeated the same line.The lion thought that probably the jackal always talks with his cave when he returns.So he gave a big roar and answered the jackal's reply.The jackal's plan worked and knowing there was a lion inside ,he ran quickly from there to save his life.
Moral of the story -Always be careful and alert.Think ten times before you do something.
