We were eager for this Children's Day outing, longing to be out with our buddies for an entire day. But we never imagined that the day had something in store for us. We heard a loud sound and then all of us turned our necks towards the direction. One of the gondolas from the Ferris wheel in which the children were enjoying their ride, had fallen off on the ground.  

All of us were shocked, fearing the worst and praying to God. We heaved a huge sigh of relief to see the gondola empty. The teachers got the Ferris wheel vacated. The children were asked not to panic as any student could have been badly injured. The teachers collected the students, made them board buses and we returned back to school.
