"Development of nation should be given priority over defence" give your views either for or against the statement

i think development and defence are 2 important simultaneous process important for the country.If one of the process fails the country would be in great danger. without defence there is a constant fear of losing our resources and commodities to the rival country. without development our country will not be able to sustain and provide its citizens with basic amenities .it would not be able to develop new defence techniques and ammunition....so i guess both are equally important factors for a country.
