Development of zygote that takes place outside the body is known as oviviparous.

Oviviparous is considered to be the mode of reproduction in animals in which embryos develop eggs inside and remain in the mother body till they are getting ready to hatch.

This reproduction method is similar to that of the viviparity however the embryos do not have any placental connection with mother and get their nourishment from yolk sac.
