Simplified standard setting of the Ilizarov device used to correct the deformities of recurrent clubfoot. Note the screwed rods and hinges used to connect the rings and half rings between the leg, calcaneus and forefoot (arrows). In this simplified setting no anterior rod connecting the leg frame to the forefoot frame is used during the initial phase of the correction.
