The outbreeding devices in flowering plants that encourages cross pollination are: Dicliny: Flowers are unisexual so that self pollination is not possible. The plants may be monoecious (bearing both male and female flowers, e.g., maize) or dioecious (bearing male and female on different plants, e.g., mulberry, papaya).

The devices that encourage pollination are many like : ,insects, etc which sit on one flower and the then sit on other to transfer pollens.
These were some living agents that do this...
on the other hand there are many non living aspects such as wind, water ,air etc.. which wiggle off the seeds from one flower to another..

Hope it helps!
