devide 6600 into two parts so that si at the first part for 5 years at 6% per annum is equal to si on the second part for 3 years at 12% per annum​

Let, First part be Rs x

Then second part = Rs(6600 - x)

S.I = PRT

A/Q

=> x * 5*6/100=  (6600 - x)* 3* 12/100

=> 30/100 * x = (6600 - x) 36/100

=> 5x = 39600- 6x

=> 11x = 39600

=> x = 3600

∴ First part = Rs 3600

and second part = Rs(6600 - 3600) =3000

hence Rs3000 the second part.
