Devika has a square piece of cloth of area 9m^2 and she wants to make 16 square shaped scarves of equal size out of it. what should possibly be the lenght of the side of the scarf that can be made out of this piece ? step by step​

let the length of side of smaller Square be 'a'

area of cloth=9 m^2

so, 16*a^2=9

=>a^2=9/16

=>a=3/4 meteres.
